Where will poker be in 2013?

Firstly, when people recommend you to use "spaces", by "spaces" we mean spaces next to full stops and commas, not spaces between lines. But it's a start.

On topic: will the US poker legislation go through by next year? I doubt it. And if it will, do they segregate their player pool or do they let others in as well? Internet poker has drawn immense amount of money out of this country in the past, why would US goverment want that.

The trend seems to be towards segregating player pools of fishy countries, Spain, Italy etc. So provided that we don't see big and positive surprises my guess is poker is going to be deeper in the hole in 2013.

Poker regulation is an interesting thing,
The government can use it to buy more bling.
With taxes and licenses and laws, oh my!
The potential for profit is really sky high.

That's why I believe it is inevitable,
No legislation in the US would be terrible.
Though 2013 seems too much to hope,
I think 2014 US laws would be dope.

However it will likely be intrastate first,
No global player pool - that's just the worst.
But the bonus for poker overall is too great
To keep US online poker just intrastate.

So maybe one day we'll have '05 once more
When fishes weren't 3-betting you out of the door
We'll have to wait and see what takes place
But we'll still be pokering with a smile on our face.
