Preflop: Hero is BB with Q♠, 9♠
MP1 folds, MP2 raises, 4 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 5♦, K♣, Q♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.20 BB) 6♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.20 BB) 4♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.20 BB

Q9s defend ok? c/r flop or c/calldown vs MP2 range? Could a case be made for folding 2ndpair weakkicker on the river to an unknown? I don't see myself ahead too often, when he bets all the way.

Hmm, he raises from MP2 thats an ok defend, it's not likely he'd bet all 3 streets with nothing. I'd say raise flop and go from there betting turn and river but folding to a raise.

I would go for a flop c/r aswell, if you get raised on turn/river you can fold safely.

I don't know about playing this way, you don't beat any Qs that are in his range, if he is a reasonable player I think I would fold this river, he showed too much strength.

I like tha aggressive line more as well.
If you want to know when you can raise for sure you just have to download 'Equilator' and type in his range, your hand and the board. If you have more than 50% equity you can raise.

If you play passive then I like the hand because you can't really fold for just 1 bet. You have no clue where you are at in this hand which is another point for the more aggressive line.
