preflop:my opponent only limp,i have AQ,so i am sure raise is better.but which betsize is better?3BB or 4BB??

FLOP:i think my opponent's hands is hard to hit this flop board,so i cbet
however,opponent raises so big,so i fold

pre flop with AQ 4x, plays not so good post flop.

post flop agree with the cbet but your sizing is bad, half pot does the same.

when he raises, you just need to look at his sizing and tendencies, usually that big sizing means that he´s not going anywhere i give it a lot of credit so fold.

thanks.but why preflop with AQ 4x,not 3x?

what is the difference between 4x and 3x?

Hello,

4x is my standard over a limp at these stacksizes. Also, no need to bet 3/4 pot when 1/2 pot does the trick. Vs his raise size, its hard for him to rep much but as filipe says I'm def giving credit to a raise this huge.
