PokerStars - $1.40+$0.10|50/100 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 1,599.00
Hero (BB): 997.00
BTN: 404.00

SB posts ante 10.00, Hero posts ante 10.00, BTN posts ante 10.00, SB posts SB 50.00, Hero posts BB 100.00

Pre Flop: (pot: 180.00) Hero has K♦ A♥

fold, SB raises to 1,589.00 and is all-in, Hero calls 887.00 and is all-in

So we re on the bubble with an okay stack

Was my call correct here? SB seemed to know what he was doing and he know he can shove any 2 in this spot as there a short stack and I need a strong hand to call, ive got his range crushed here, theres a good chance he ll have to live cards but if i win both SB and BTN have short stacks and i can bully them while their fighting for 2nd and chip up for heads, putting me in a great position to win which is like almost double 2nd

The only thing to consider here is if he wins obviously you bust for no cash.

Your well ahead of his range here as you've said and I think folding AK here ITLR would be a massive leak.

I'm calling this all day long.

Let's see if we are correct.....

Hi all,

Looks roughly like a ATo+ spot for me vs a reggish opponent.

http://www.holdemresources.net/hr/sngs/icmcalculator.html?action=calculate&bb=100&sb=50&ante=0&structure=0.7%2C0.3&s1=404&s2=1599&s3=997&s4=&s5=&s6=&s7=&s8=&s9=

At these stakes we can probably stick to AQo+ though as our opponent probably doesn't shove any two cards like he should.
