Fastest way to clear FDB

Hey guys I´m new here but not to poker. I just deposited on pokerstars and got the $600 first deposit bonus along with it.

I play mostly cash games and small field MTTs live, but now I´m trying to give online poker a chance, mostly because I´m ill and can´t stand hours on a casino.

I know MTTs are out of the question for fast clearing, I was thinking something fast and saw Zoom poker and Hyper Turbo 6-max sit and go.

Any thoughts?

Depends on the level, and on how much variance you can stand.

Last time I cleared a bonus, I played Double-or-Nothings.
You know exactly how many you must play to clear, and you can play a lot at once because being super-nitty is +EV

Sry, you're on stars, and they don't have DoNs any more, and I've never tried their alternate

I think zoom is the fastest way to clear FDB.

I´ve been playing it and it seems slow to me, maybe it´s because of the stakes I´m playing

Yeah, but my main focus are MTTs and with a few cash 6-max tables on the side. This is just a question of clearing it fast to move to my main games.

Or maybe I´ll just do my thing and forget about it.

Just be aware online 100NL & 200NL is super hard compared to live cash so don't get crushed clearing that bonus.

"super hard" is an understatement... even NL10 does not compare

thats a smart idea, I never thought of doing that, I might have to try it out next time I go to clear a bonus. Which site did you do that on?

I played $11 DoNs
Each one is $1 in rake.

I spent a month doing this, but I have limited time each day.

Also, it seems I didn't clear the entire bonus -- by the time it expired I had done about a third of it -- my initial deposit was $300.

I am a bit confused now too -- I made a $300 deposit, and when I took my shot at NL 50 I had just over $600, but I can't figure out where the other $200 came from -- certainly not winnings

There was also a PokerStrategy.com promo on at the time, and I got some money out of that too.

This is 20 days worth of play at 3 per day.

Bear in mind that I was playing well above my skill level here.
I studied everything I could on DoNs and attended every coaching on them during this period.
