Hero bets $1.55, MP calls $1.55

Turn: ($5.30) J♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks

River: ($5.30) 8♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $2.20, Hero folds

the guy was tight/passive so on the river when the club came i dont think that i valuebet and get called from worst hands ? However i see my line a bit weak ? what do u think ?

preflop, turn and river are std. Idk if I'd cbet flop... Don't know if he folds that much. It's not like a huge fish who limp/call 50% of hands. I think I check ch/f it here

Hello noulispa,

You have a decent sample size here, why don't you just Check what's his limp/calling range from the popup? According to that we can practically base either to CB it or not and if his limp was even a misclick.

But without any stats of limp-call and assuming that such a tighter range will have enough of PPs in his limp/calling range I don't mind CBetting the flop while also having the FD. River mainly depends how we see the opponent, I wouldn't be surprised even if a passive opponent would turn some hands into bluff but that's true that he will have enough of those hands which have us beat but I doubt that many of them Bet even for value. Maybe at the best Q:c and some combos of T:c.
