Hi.
The opponent is a 49/12 in 400 hands. cbet flop 41, cbet turn 83, cbet river 100, WTSD 16. steal from CO 20. fold to cbet 71 (63 in 3bet pot). 3bet 2.9, fold to 3bet 58.
Preflop I just call because both blinds were tight, so the probability of being HU post flop was high. Was it better to do anything else?
On flop my plan was to call him down and let him bluff.
The turn completes a draw, and in case he has the str8 I have odds to call. But it didn't complete the other str8 draw (the most probably). So I don't know if my call is correct or it´s better to shove. What do you think? he doesn't fold anything better than my hand, but he calls with worse; (and I have outs if he has a set, the str8 or K9)
The river practically blanks (completes a backdoor str8, but that card is not so important, I think), but now he shoves almost the pot, he probably has a set, 68 or a busted draw, I consumed the time bank and ended folding, because at this level when a player bets pot on the river, 85% of the time is a strong hand (in my short experience).
I have the impression that I made a mistake somewere in the hand, but I can't decide where was it, pre or post flop.
Thanks!
