Hi All,

Another one of my biggest pots lost yesterday.

When the turn (river I meant) comes a third Club on the board, should I be seriously thinking about the possibility that villain has the flush?

How do I know if he's playing a flush draw up to that point?

Should I have gone broke here?

Thanks!

it's simple in micros - when a draw completes and they shove big $$$ into the pot, they ALWAYS have it. just believe them and fold.

actually you may catch a bluff eventually, but don't get too excited about it. just believe them.

Hello sp3d01,

You are never-ever going to be ahead on the river, even 9x hand beats you. Easy fold, also vs the huge Bet.

Best Regards.

thanks guys for the advice :)

but surely I can rule out him holding 9x? would he have called my preflop bet with 9x? In my opinion I doubt it, possibly if he's got A9 but then I'm crushing him until the 9 comes out on the river...
