what do you guys do with this... fold it? my database has me losing in spots like this when calling but its only 50k hands and maybe i'm not playing it right on the postflop streets

it's an easy call if you know how to play this hand postflop and are willing to float some flops with intention of stealing on turn. I don't think you can call it if you only play it for value though (hit a set or fold), it's too trashy of a hand for that IMO.

Folding preflop is absolutely fine with this hand, it really is awful. Let's compare your hand against a random 4 cards....

You barely have an edge. Now take in to consideration that the guy UTG is probably raising the top 25% of his hands, and you will be an underdog against that range so folding is absolutely fine.
