and why would the other person always have a rundown and not something like KKxx/QQxx or a double pair ? 12% 3-bet ia definitely not only rundowns and AAxx, especially IP. also the 4-bettor could be adjusting to the wide 3-betting range so he can have more than just AAxx in his range.

Actually, I would fold. Hero hasn't put voluntarily any money in the pot. Cold 4bet from the blinds screams for aces. Or if the 4bet is light, that 3bet might well be aces. Hero has pretty crappy aces, and if we look his hand against some ranges, it's not a great spot.

4bet oop is definitely for value against 100bb 3bettor. I would give him range of AAxx, KKxx. Even that range is wide, as I don't think he would 4bet crappy kings. Now if there is 3bet, 4bet and 5bet, MP is most likely to call with any decent ace-cracking hand if he thinks that SB and hero has aces.

Of course they won't have aces always, but to make that cold 5bet I would rather have a reason to believe that SB is adjusting with light 4bets than just hope for it.

If her had premium aces, like AcAs7c8s I would shove cos that increases hero's equity enough.

But shoving isn't a terrible mistake, usually even if there are aces involved hero has about 30% in 3way pot and 20% in 4way pot. And sometimes no one has aces, or villains are blocking each other out etc. But this is definitely a spot where I could fold aces preflop.

You're gonna cry if you fold and they both turn over KKxx aren't you?

You can't fold because you're only 120 bets deep. If you were at least 200 bets you could think about making some other play. At most you're losing $2 in equity if someone else has aces, but if they both show up with 6789 or KK/AKK5 then you just cost yourself a lot of money.

Think about the long term and just shove. You need really specific reads on your opponents to fold preflop here and you just don't have enough hands on them to make that decision.

I quite agree with Kyyberi.
sb's cold 4bet intent to be almost AAxx, very few hands other than AAxx here,
especially at this level.
And bu will call and crash two AAxx hands.
