[FR] KQs donk bet the turn

If you just call the Flop, you should do this for the reason that you plan to checkraise the turn. Look at this board, at your hand and at your opponents range. Your opponent did coldcall. He could have done this with a lot of worse hands. Pocketpairs. x6 and worse queens. Being aware what hands you're actually ahead against, there are just a few. AQ 22 and 66 but majority of his range consists of worse pairs and worse queens.

So against an unknown i would just 3bet the flop to not take the risk of seing a checkbehind on the turn and most players will pay off with a medium pocketpairs, x6 etc. Turncheckraise looks quite strong on this board, although you might get more from his toppair type of hands. It's questionable, whether 3bet the flop immidiate or call the flop and raise the turn is better.

Donking may induce a calldown from his pocketpair that he may have folded to a checkraise but it looks suspicious and given you would have AJ AT AK etc, you wanna check as well. So you do with your valuehands, to keep being balanced. For the balancing reason if you have a medium hand like Ax or a pocketpair and the fact that you'll get more out of his bluffs and madehands, you should checkraise, once you just called the flop.

Another argument for a turncheckraise is that your relative position is great to trap CO and UTG

As a default line, i keep the initiative by 3betting the flop and in case you'll get raised @ the turn, you just proceed passively with a calldown.
