I'm not sure if this should be in tournament or sng post. But I was wandering if anyone has any helpful tips for playing these.
I here that they have a relatively poor field, whilst not being near as swingy as 180 mans.
from my first 2, i have a few perhaps simple spots...

At this point there are 11 left, and BB was 17/0. Is this the type of shove I should be making? When I have him covered etc. Are there any tips for the really low buyin tournaments?

BTN: t2919 M = 4.03
Hero (SB): t5979 M = 8.25
BB: t4262 M = 5.88
UTG: t10366 M = 14.30
CO: t4536 M = 6.26

Pre Flop: (t725) Hero is SB with 7♦ J♠
3 folds, Hero raises to t5954 all in, BB calls t3837 all in

Flop: (t8599) 2♥ 4♠ 8♣ (2 players - 2 are all in)

Turn: (t8599) Q♠ (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: (t8599) T♣ (2 players - 2 are all in)

This is another question about shoving. Can I afford to pass up this type of spot in the hope that a better one comes up, especially in lower stakes 45 mans. I assume it is marginally +ev, but perhaps I could find a better spot. There were about 25 people left. (Ps is there anyway on HEM 2 to find out exactly how many people were left?)

My other problem is calling range. I have tended to be folding some marginal hands I think.

Should I be folding when there are 3 way ai in general?

Again, sorry if this post is in the wrong place. But any tips for these tournaments would be great.

The mtt forums are the right place for every tournament/mtsng with more then 27 players.
One little request: As long as your hands aren't connected to each other please post them in different threads. One hand per thread. There are certain constellations where posting more then one hand in a thread makes perfect sense. F.e. you can post several hands in one thread if one hand leads to a certain read in another hand or if it is a general problem in a certain spot where you like to post several examples. As long as the hands are not connected in any way it makes more sense to post them one by one.

Hand 1: Boarderline. I would fold most of the times. My range starts with J9o in this spot.
Hand 2: nh!
Hand 3: If there is no bubble nearby you should call.
Hand 4: Think about a reasonable range for your opponent. Equilate your hand against this range using the equilab. It's quite easy to analyse spots this way. The result would be something like this:

MP2 55.92% 54.40% 1.52% QTs
MP3 44.08% 42.56% 1.52% 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J2s+, T2s+, 92s+, 83s+, 73s+, 63s+, 52s+, 43s, A2o+, K2o+, Q2o+, J5o+, T6o+, 96o+, 86o+, 75o+, 65o, 54o

--> easy call against this range

If you want a more in detail answer on a specific hand please post it in a seperate thread. It's hard to give detailed answers without having a good overview and structure of the hand.

Regards,
Asaban
