NL4 FR KK, what to do when an A comes at the turn?

Seems like a 222/999 if he is smart, because he'll see you're pot committing yourself, and be prepared to stack off. If he's not quite as sharp, he's hit a Q on the flop.

What reads have you got on him? Does he call very often with top or middle pair? Does he pay attention to kicker? As you've chosen to pot commit yourself on the flop, do you expect him to call this cbet if he does not have you beat? Will he do it with just a Queen?

I think the only hand you don't beat that is calling your turn bet is JT. Might be hard, but I think check/fold turn is best. Why are you playing so shortstacked though, top up!

His actions strongly suggest one of these 4 hands: 22, 99, AQ, JT

Opponent is just a typical player of these stakes. Of course he would call the c-bet with top pair (why shouldn't he after all?) and probably he would call it with middle pair also. The question is what do I do after the A comes up? Do I check or do I keep betting? And if I check, do I fold if (when) he bets?

You can either bet smaller on the Turn and divide your stack among the Turn & River so you can still get a call from a Queen.

or you can check/call the Turn & depending what the stacksizes are c/f or c/c the River as well

I prefer betting smaller on the Turn so I get crycalls from him
