What's the difference it's the same game? I hear pros says it's a different game, but it's the same rules.
It's the same rules of course, but it's just different. Online you can play 24 tables + at the same time, live you can play only 1 table, so while you can make online about 2.000 hends per hour, live you are happy to make 30.
Also, when playing live you can have more tells on people
The rules are basically the same, but do check in the b&m cardroom for 'house rules' which vary slightly from one casino to another.

Some differences:
♦ You get to see the players faces, there body language, hand movements etc.
♦ You can "think out loud" and watch how the other players react. This is an art. Daniel Negreanu is a master at it.
♦ Some casinos have smaller BI requirements, so you can shortstack. Few online rooms do now. Similarly, some casinos have really high stack size limits, so you can sit down with 1000 BB if you wish. To play like that you need to own a pair -- big ones.
♦ You have to pay more for your beer.
