HU, top 2 pair on turn, cap turn?, raise river?

His 3-bet on the flop represents 2 pairs, set of straight draw. I think I should have capped the turn, more likely he has 2 pairs than a set, and call a river bet/ bet river if he checks. As played I think I should raise/call river.

Hi!

This should be a raise on the flop basically always to kick the third player,I dont like calling that much since many turncards are not going to be that nice.

As played yes cap turn is fine. He will still make this line with 89,A4,A8 and if you add some bluffs or other possible hands its going to be more often than set(where 99,88 has to be somewhat discounted due to preflop just calling)
