The villain was 30/25 over around 90 hands and had taken a similar line preflop with AQ+, i called on the flop because he could have had something along the lines of AK and i was getting the odds to try to improve to a straight if he had a higher pair or had hit trips on the flop, on the turn the third spade was a scare card but i wasn't sure it was ever worth folding a straight here.

I'd check-raise on the turn.

Only AsQs and AsKs makes sense that beat you. KJ and small flushes beat you too but these hands don't make sense (for either of MP or button).

There is lots of stuff that you beat that makes sense, for instance AA including As, sets and even AQ with no spade.

Hi!

Flop c/c is not bad but I would actually donk.Against capper you are not doing that bad since in monster range AK,TT represent about 50% of his hands. And even if he has QQ,KK,AA you are far from dead. There are other player whom you definatelly are slight favourite against....so all in all I dont, prevent checking and if nobody raises Im quiteoptimistic with my hand and would consider valuebetting all the way on nice cards.

Turn I would definatelly donk.Card looks very scarry and now you really dont want checking behind from AA,KK,AK and that can easily happen. If you check you should indeed c/r.

River as played I would again donk basically for the same reason, because I believe MP will check behind most of the time and we will just loose value.

Remeber that in these multiway pots(which are usually much bigger obviously) playing very straightforward is the best play.
