Top set, massive pot, turn brings flush

Very small sample on the guy, but he looks real fishy... What should our line be on the turn? I shoved, because i thought he might have a draw that's not a flush draw, or even a worse hand... But i come across these spots quite often, and villain usually has it...

But even if he had the flush 100% of time, can my shove here be really that bad given the money in the pot, and me having around 20% equity?

$14/$53 = 26.5% equity.

This is what you need on the turn to justify a shove which you're clearly going to have. Even if villain has a flush you're going to show up with 20% equity typically, so you can only fold if villain has a flush 100% of the time (which is quite clearly ridiculous).

There however is some negative freerolling happening if you check the turn, which is that if villain has a straight draw he will likely check behind and you give him a free card. To avoid this you need to shove the turn which is what you did.

If you were deeper it's okay to check, but with so little money left it's better to just shove yourself.
