Hello guys sorry if this has been done a million times before but I'm not very technical and was kinda busting for a quick solution from those in the know..

Just downloaded HM2 onto my newly restored comp (windows 7) and it had an issue with postgres as it was installing. it says:

try userid: postgres
try pass: postgrespass
plpgsql test failed ERROR: language "plpgsql" does not exist
HINT: Use CREATE LANGUAGE to load the language into the database.
3
testclient return status: 3
testclient return from file: 3

Could anyone tell me what I need to do?

cheers,
Ryan.

I've never encountered this myself.

have you checked HM's website?

postgres may also have troubleshooting info on their website.

If you are installing on to a system that has never had HM on it before -- or any other tracker using postres -- then I'm surprised. It usually "just works"

If you HAVE had postgres installed from a previous installation, it might be worth a try to back everything up, uninstall all previous trackers, and uninstall postgres as well.

Be sure to follow the instructions when uninstalling.

Then, when you again try to install, it will be as though it was a clean machine.

HM has kick-ass support, too. Email them. This might be a known item.

Good luck!

There is probably something missing in your windows installation. Run windows update until it finds no more important or security updates.

Make sure the secondary logon service is enabled and please check our FAQ:
