I play on Poker770, microstakes

There are a few players that come into and out of a table numerous times in a short period of time.

They won't pay the blind, just come into the table, sit out a hand or two, leave the table, and come back a few minutes later and do it again.

Why would they do this?

I an a newbie, so sorry if it is a simple question.

I've no idea.
I'm guessing though, that they are on the waiting list, and when it comes up, they join, watch a bit before their blinds come up.

If they don't like what they see, they exit, and go back to waiting.

770 is really nitty, with only a few looser players, so they may be looking for tables they like.

Hi zedkay!

I think Vorpal is right on this one. They are probably just looking which tables are the best to play on.

When they join a couple of times it's probably because they don't know which tables they've opened before.

Best of luck on the tables!

Oh, and I forgot to mention.
I'm going to try this.

I currently join about 10 or so wait lists, and play the first four, and decline all the rest.

However, since 770 is so nitty, a lot of the tables you can go 3 or 4 orbits w/o a playable hand.

If I had a few other choices, maybe I could swap out a dead table for a live one.

See you on 770
