Everest - $0.25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: $11.00
BB: $20.95
UTG: $29.05
Hero (CO): $29.05
BTN: $16.20

SB posts SB $0.15, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.40) Hero has K♣ Q♣

fold, Hero raises to $0.90, fold, SB calls $0.75, fold

Flop: ($2.05, 2 players) 3♠ 7♦ 6♥
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($2.05, 2 players) K♦
SB checks, Hero bets $1.65, SB calls $1.65

River: ($5.35, 2 players) 2♠
SB checks, Hero bets $2.95, SB raises to $8.45 and is all-in, Hero calls $5.50

I find it very hard to get away from hands like this, I know I only have top pair, but what do I have to make off opponents play here, opponent was unknown.

Paul

Hello PaulieV,

The problem here is that you can't really face tons of worse hands, don't see him even that often to Check/Raise the river for thin value there with Kx hands. Therefore it's rather a block-bet/Fold.

Though I'd say such a dry board could still be a CB, even $1 is enough to get with it a free card for the river and some fold equity.

Best Regards.
