It's ok to coldcall the flop because SB's flopdonk is quite strong and your hand is ok but not strong enough to give more action. On the first view it may look stronger than this hand actually is but toppair on a board where already too many straight and 2pair combinations are possible. And imagine the worse hands you're ahead against. There are not too many worse hands. JT but JT has still a good EQ.T9 has good EQ as well but against J8 J9 T7 QT KJ AJ and maybe sets, you're kind of crushed and the better hands are more combinations than the worse hands.

It's not a big mistake to 3bet the Flop and it always depends on your opponents. If you think SB and Mp are crazy and aggressive enough to raise with A8 on the Flop, you should 3bet and protect your hand but without good reads you should be playing this hand more cautiously. River is close. I think i would have called, given 1:13 and the fact that you don't know MP and he might be betting again with JT J7s. Knowing MP is tight and more shy, fold is ok. I'm surprised that SB didn'T reraise the Flop. :)

He was too afraid of being against the straight. :)
