i think you played it well. you cap flop is in my opinion a good idea. Mainly because the flop contains a flush draw and potentional straight draws and we all know that these guys will call with as little as one card backdoor gut shot. which could end up giving him the win, therefor we need to charge him for as much as possible. I think its just fine as you played it.

Ill bet you would be pretty annoyed if the 3rd club came on the turn eh.

Isn't it , get as much money in when ahead.

oh and you should start NOT including the results in your hands. That will make our advises "better" since we dont already know the result. so we will have to give your opponent a range of hands. I could easily have gone and said that against two pair we could in theory call 3bet and raise turn. I think you say that or ask that because you know the result that he has the two pair and not a flush draw. so you already know you wont be able to lose. and then searching for the way you get most value from based from that he has two pair only.

Hi!

Once it gets HU and he 3bets its indeed standard to just call and raise turn. This way you extract more from draws(which are much less likely) or his TP+ hands which are most likely

Remember that even if the worst card comes(I guess like J :club: could be one) you still have to raise. Sure your equity droped but you are still far ahead of all his possible 2 pair, sets,Ax,some SDs,... and even if he flushed you still have 10 outs.

Capping flop has its merits too but vs unknown I stick to standard lines. One benefit is that you line looks much weaker and he may overdo some hands(like that one has) so you can then raise again on the turn, but in this case he may overdo it anyway even if you raise him on the turn.So to cap flop I preffer to know the guy first
