from sb you should've beted even more than 4bb+1 since you already posted 0.5 and your oponent did twice as much. I think you can easily bet $1.25 here pf and it makes difference on the flop.

Also, with $1.75 pot and $1 bet your raise is just a $0.7 overbet (pot size raise would be $3.75). No need to divide it into two underbets.

Oh, sorry, I got mistaken. Though he was on the sb, so he already posted 0.5BB. Don't pay attention to my previous evaluation then.

From BU it's of course ok to raise 3bb. Flop push according to my previous post, just fine.
