can i really fold it pre given the odds and the fact that he may be on the tightish side but still not an absolute rock? i don't think so, thats why ive decided to flat and thread carefully post.

ive got a feeling the my line on the flop is not the best one..
donk/fold? he's never folding better but at least i kinda know where im at
ch/shove? that seems to be the best option since i can still easily get called by worse + this line saves my difficult decisions on later streets

as played - turn card is kinda bittersweet, i dont think he ever calls worse so i decided to go for a cheap showdown, though with those stack sizes it was a bit too optimistic i guess

river - easy ch/f since hes never calling worse (unless he somehow got that far with AK, no spades, but thats a slim chance imo) and he shouldnt really turn any worse hands into a bluff so i dont need to worry abt folding the best hand there? what im trying to say is that i think that when he fires a 3rd barrel i can be sure im beat.

does that make sense?

Fold pre and stay safe from harm. His pfr is only 9, his 3bet% is low. Even if he does that with AQ-AK, JJ+, you are still unhappy.

On the flop- why ch/ship? If he had JJ+-he ain't folding. If he has AQ/AK with a spade draw- he ain't folding and u flip for 50bb! Ofc SPR is low, but it's a tricky situation to play here in a 940 pot flop with 1600 left OOP. It's weak, it's evil, our hand is vulnerable. Save yourself from getting into spots like this.
