We've all seen the videos on Youtube, be it ;
Doyle Bruson with the 10 :spade:2 :spade: or
TJ Cloutier with the J :club:9 :club: or
Nanonoko with the J :club:5 :club:..

Everyone one seems to have one complete donkey that they seem to want to put chips into the pot with!
Being Pokerstrategists we really shouldn't have a hand where we stick a lot of money in with a less than premium hand, but we've all been there and find it happening to ourselves...

My Question is:
:f_confused: What is Your Donkey Hand? :f_confused:

Mine is K :diamond:9 :diamond: - Specifically Diamonds..

For whatever reason I find myself 3/4betting with it, c/r bluffing with it, and 3barrelling with it..

I blame the old full tilt t-shirt that they had in their store saying "I Play K9" with the Dog avatar on the back.. I think it got that K9 stuck in my head..

Mine is K9 as well, whether it is suited or off suited. I always used to win against my friends with it and it then just became a lucky hand. Last year I remember three betting online with it and was called... the flop came K-4-5 rainbow. I bet and was called. The turn was 2 then the river was 9.

I bet on both streets and was raised all-in on the river, I called. Villain turned over pocket rockets and decided to tilt massively, called me a donkey as well as every other possible name under the sun.

K9 - the dog's bollocks! :f_cool:

I don't have a specific starting hand, but in PLO, when I get an underfull I really spazz out even when the most passive opponents are betting. I'm mostly thinking like "I haz boat, I'm allin". Keep losing money there :f_cry:

5 :diamond:4 :diamond:. In the beginning of me playing namely live poker I had a couple of times I busted the same player with this hand. both times as a can remember ( I might be remembering wrong though wasn't that great back then :P ) I was getting decent odds to make the call. Still I made sure he didn't forgot it to look loser and a worse player then I was ^^.

I use to play that hand too. But one day three months ago, i won maybe the biggest pot i had ever won on nl10 with it and from then i stopped playing 52o as a winner.

It was a 3 way 3bet pot vs 2 unknown fish in pokerstars zoom. I 3bet on the BTN with it and BB along with UTG called. Flop was A52 two tone and the one got A9 and the other had a Flush Draw. I barreled hard and my hand held up and i won a 37$ pot.

Since then i have decided to play poker with no superstitious hands and 52o is an insta-fold.

23s, I have won some really big hands live with this hand. I usually have a very nitty image live so people are always really surprised after I turn over 23s after raising preflop and sometimes bluffing postflop.
