Spoiler

dobott a csicska

Sometimes I have the feeling that these regs have datamined, and know somehow from SOMEWHERE that I fold a lot to 3bets. I mean, they 3bet way more against me than against other players. E.g. here: villain 3bet against me 4/9, but overall 15%, so roughly 1,3/9.. Dont tell me he has a strong range. 4 out of 9 times is no coincidende, that I can tell even from that sample size. I mean, he VERY likely has a weak range.
Well, like 2 hands ago I bet button, he 3betted the same amount from the blinds, and folded to my 4bet. So I guessed it could work again. Well, didnt, but the board is pretty sweet. If he doesnt have an A, this should be a walk in the park :f_biggrin:

Hi Imimba1:

first recommendation:
Switch to another table! Having someone who is playing aggressively vs you and you being out of position is not what you are looking for.

Overall, players in the BU have the power to do almost everything :-)
In your case - you do not have real blockers, you have a crappy playability, so just fold to the 3bet. You somehow have to be careful that your oponent has no autoprofit on you, but I guess QTo is a fold.

My recommendation vs such an aggressive oponent is to not increase the 4b-bluffing range. Instead do two things:

* slightly tighten up, take 75s off your CO-range vs him (speculative hand which does also not fit to the small stack that the fish in the SB has).

* 4bet/broke with a slightly bigger range. Just imagine he is 3betting you very light. Means his range is bigger then usual. If you now 4b/c vs him he can do only two things:
- go broke lightly: even with TT+,AQ+ you will be ahead vs his broke range
- he can fold very tight: you got a profit when he folds. (one could argue that you once you find out this you should 4b bluff more - but sometimes it is just too expensive to find that out).

As played:
*4bet a bit smaller (you 3.5xed!)
*bet the flop smaller - unfortunately b/f here. Plus even if you hit - you would get it in anyways in the 4bet pot!

More questions? Just ask!

thats a huge 4bet sir

i usually use

IP: 2.2-2.4x
OOP: 2.4-2.6x

does the same job, ur not commiting yourself with marginal hands while 100bb deep + u are giving yourself a better price for your bluff4bets
