Villain was 27/24 over ~230 hands.

Should I raise a cbet in this case? I feel like I should have, because it's hard for him to really have anything on this flop. And by calling, I will just have to fold to another bet most of the time on the turn, even though he still usually has a hand that he's going to be willing to fold.

So should I raise the flop? Or is calling the flop then folding to a turn bet the better play?

Hello,

Preflop I prefer folding. The hand doesn't really play so well postflop as most of the people think, and you could easily end up loosing a lot of money.

On the flop I don't like raising.
First, if we get 3bet we will have to fold a hand with a lot of equity.
Second, we don't draw to the nuts.
Third, we could be drawing dead already.
So in position, I prefer calling and reevaluating the turn. He obviously won't bet the turn 100% of the time (and if he does we could call the turn) so we could just take the pot on the turn from times to times.

As played on the flop, folding turn is ok.
