A couple of hands resulted in loss... suggestions ? 10x

Fixed limit is all about getting your money (as much as possible of it) in when you probably have the best hand, or, much more rarely, when you think that an opponent will fold a better hand, and (,quite frequently,) as little as possible when you are drawing or catching bluffs.

There is a difference between probably having the best hand, and actually having it. This difference is very important when the dealer pushes the pot to the winner, but only then is it important.

The only way to avoid these nuisances completely is to fold your big-but-not-nut hands. Do you think it is a good idea?

You played the hands well, even perfectly, if you believe your reads and the philosophy outlined in the first paragraph above.

Edit: You might also want to have a look at this thread, How do you cope? , which (was supposed to deal with) deals with how to maintain your A game when the cards fall off badly. Perhaps the thread isn't relevant here, but I suspect strongly that you (as I did) knowingly or unknowingly adjusts to the mood of the RNG in an incorrect way. At least I think you think about doing that, otherwise you wouldn't post.

I'm just gonna evaluate your hand because you put so much effort on it but the next time you gonna be posting a hand, please use a hand converter and transform the hand into a visible format. It's kind of difficult to extract all the information just out of the text. First hand: Nothing to do about it. When it got checked through on the turn and you have the best second pair, you have to call the river or if you have the chance, bet yourself and make them calling worse pairs. It was a bad beat , yes. Don't blame yourself. IT happens over and over :).

You played that hand well but there is one significant mistake you made. First of all. You can bet the flop for value with the second nutflushdraw and a gutshot and maybe 0,5-1 Out to your Kx pair. You have over 40% chance to improve by the river. So it means you can bet and raise for value against 2 opponents where you require more EQ than 1/players = 1/3 = 33,33%. So in case you'd just have a flushdraw with 1 overcard, you could play the flop aggressively as well.

The mistake i was talking about. With the second nuts, you have to reraise the River. The chance he does have a set, straight or worse flush are too high to not reraise! In this case you were lucky and just lost another BB but in the long run, he's more likely to have anything worse than second nuts. Should sound logical.
