Are you asking whether it was a good shove by you, or a good call by your opponent?

It was definitely a good shove by you with 11BBs, and villain has to call once there is that much in the pot. He should be open shoving though. Even if villain min raises I think he has the odds to call your shove.

Yea I was wondering, whether it would not be a good choice to fold, since he opened very strong, he opened 4x, thus representing a strong hand (in my opinion, this looks very strong), i still had the 11BB, and couldhave waited for a better position. :) so im asking whether it was a good shove by me, since he is pot commited and will not fold.. basically are 99 strong enough in that position?

The 4x is strong raise, but it looks more like he wants folds from everyone when he raises like that with his stack size. Why would he play AA/KK like this? It's such an odd and fishy raise with his stack size that I am pretty happy to just get it in with 99 with 11BBs.

Also note that there's already over 5k in the pot.

Hey!

I'm also getting it in! But its the first pair in this spot!
He has aq and ak or ajs here very often with this big raise, sometimes he just does it with weaker hands because it looks strong, or obv he can have qq+ too!

With deadmoney and his range in this spot it should be close +ev spot for you!

Greets,
