Hi,

Your Flop isoraise is way too large. I don't like it. Such shorstackers could very easily limp/reraise and you would be forced to fold, and you would lose 6bb just like that. I think 3.5-4bb isoraise is good here against a short stacker.

On the Flop I just give up. I think he has a broadway card too often and people just dont fold to one bet.

Yes, I believe mbml is talking about preflop here since that's where you are making it 6 BB.

I agree with him and I always isolate shorter fishy players smaller (with all of our range). By making it too big preflop, versus shorties, we don't really give ourselves enough room to play postflop.

For example if he calls the pot is 13 BB and he has only 40 BB behind. Thus we can't bet more than 1 street without committing him/ourselves. Even a 7 BB cbet would make the pot 27 BB with 33 BB behind (for him).

As played, I'd also ck/fold the flop because he has too many hands that can call there and we can't barrel.
