Villain loose passive fish.

Overall happy with the hand but again, betsizing. Even with potsize bets flop and turn I have to overbet the river, at which point he'll likely fold when his draws miss. Feel like I'm really losing value on hands like these where they call near anything flop and turn then fold the river.

Party, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

Hero (MP1): $2.39 (119.5 bb)
MP3: $1.91 (95.5 bb)
CO: $0.97 (48.5 bb)
BB: $3.01 (150.5 bb)
BTN: $1.85 (92.5 bb)
MP2: $2 (100 bb)
SB: $0.58 (29 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with K K
Hero raises to $0.08, 3 folds, BTN calls $0.08, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.19) 5 6 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.10, BTN calls $0.10

Turn: ($0.39) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $0.38, BTN calls $0.38

River: ($1.15) J (2 players)
Hero bets $1.30, BTN folds

Results:

Hi Knyght,

Preflop: looks fine

Flop: You definitely lost value with you 1/2 pot bet on such a draw heavy board. Why did we bet so small?

I'm happy potting it here and then potting the turn.

The bigger we bet on the flop the bigger the pot is on the turn and the bigger we can get.
