Villain is 52/34 with 26(!) 3bet over ~200 hands. He was also bluff c/r A LOT, so I wanted to pot control/cheap showdown instead of play bet flop/check turn/soul read river. He showed down some real crap in 3 bet pots, and some pretty ballzy bluffs. And a lot of light calldowns.

1) Do you also defend a hand like this IP again someone with such a huge 3 bet percentage?
2) Rather play bet flop with the plan to check turn unimproved?

Hi,

I think 97s is too marginal to call 3-bet. Best option would be just fold or if I want to make moves then 4-bet bluff can sometimes also be an option.
Consider CB raise size I don´t think he is 3-betting there light, so fold should be best option

Postflop is fine. Unless you shove river, I think he would mostly call you down with better hands

best regards,
