Wow, very sick hand. I am not a FL player, but if you ask me, I would say: well played! Only AA/KK/Ak beats you. Due to the fact that this is SH I wouldn't be scared and would therefore put my money in. nh!

I would of played it the same - I may have checked the river if I had some info on the villian.

I had some bad plays on FL and I didn't really stick with the schemes. I took a break and came bake to play with the SSS on NL10.

I won back what I lost, and a bit more. So I'm satisfied with the night.

Hey Kimber,

I think you did play that well, since your not gonna fold to a 70c bet in a 2.55 pot imo. Maybe you should have looked at his stack first though, since then you might have wanted to push him all in on the flop already to create max fold equity + get max value out of your strong hands there.

How is doing FL/SSS working out for you? don't you ever get mixed up?

I have both SHC printed out, and I have them by my side accordingly to what strategy I'm playing at. Atm I find SSS to fit me the best, so I might give FL a rest.

Had a really bad night. Lost what I gained the last couple of days. I got impatient and started playing "almost-playable-hand". I can blame only myself. So now it's back to where I started - and stick 100% to the SSS..

Going on holiday for two weeks now. I'll be back with a clear head..

I have come home from my holidays and I'm ready to continue my poker playing and blogging. ATM I'm playing 5 tables with the SSS. Left to tables with just over 30BB and rebought at one table, so I'm almost break even.

I'l post again later today, to let you know how it all ends up.

I'm gonna play a few Double-Or-Nothing too. I'll update on that later aswell..

As I'm sure everyone can see, I didn't come back that night to sum up. The reason is I was struck by a major downswing, which I'm still struggling with. I lost on SSS and lately I have lost on S'n'G too. I'm starting a little SSS now and hope everything will go better now. Wish me luck.

Okay. Now here's the deal:

- I'll take more time to work on blog and write about my progress in order to become a better player.

- Inspired by Gerv's blog, I'll use more time on posting hands and graphs, to make the blog more readre-friendly. And also to make it easier for you guys to evaluate my play.

- Also I started playing on PartyPoker. Why? I noticed that a lot of the videos in here is from there, and also a lot of the coachings take place there. And hopefully I'll find a lot of fish in there..

- Stick to SSS and not play cheap sattelites and S'n'Gs as I always end up finishing just before I get ITM. My tournament play I will work on later, when my cash game play starts going well.

- when I get the time I'll also update the first post in my blog, and make it a better welcome (this is also partly inspired by Gerv), and I'll post graphs and stats in the first post, and keep this up to date, so that the first post always contain lifetime-stats.

- The first post will also come to contain some goals that I intend to achieve

So this is my plan for now. Thanks to Gerv for showing what a blog should really look like.

Oh and BTW, I started on PP last night and won $3.75 in a short time using the SSS. Only played four tables at a time. The amount of fishes really surprised me..

You play NL10 on PartyPoker? Maybe Ive saw you sometime. I dislike NL25 on Party since there arent many players there.

No, it was nicely played. Maybe you could bet flop more to protect your hand.

Maybe. But I think they would both have called me even at that point. The guy who caught the straight would probably have called me with anything.. He was extremely loose and fishy.
