if i understand correctly he's in fact in HJ position, with his stats he's got a raise first from MP probably around 15-20%, especially from HJ so id say 88 are ahead of his range, im reshoving here, especially that he should still fold a decent amount of time.
this is always really close. make sure you always click on his total PFR and it will give you positional PFR. if his HJ/CO PFR is getting towards 20 you can shove this. if his MP PFR is still around 10 i would just fold. definitely shoving 99+ AQ+
