Villain is 69/38/3.4-agg.f-44 hands. My idea on the flop was- he could be fos, I have an over, gutter, possibly 5 is good, position, etc. On the turn, I think he is trying to get to a cheap showdown as I rarely see people playing Qx like that. Maybe he has 4x or picked up a draw and pair or just a draw. Given all that, would you buff shove river? Looks risky vs this type of player.

What other line would you take? If you call turn, would you as well call river or fold it to this mini bet?

this screams Q8 to me.

you cant half ass these spots, if you want to bluff him you need to raise turn bigger and jam any river. this, to me, is a typical fish weak-SD line. he is prepared to call small raises but he won't often risk his whole stack.

its a bit risky because we are quite deep, (if you had better BD equity I would just call for my outs). But, I think he folds vs big raise/shove river 95%.

this line does work better on drawy boards where your value range is wider (more hands scare him). but i still think it works in this spot because his hand is really face up.
