I'm so bad at bluffing :f_biggrin:

He is playing 18-15 ,cbet of 71% , fold cbet to raise 43% ,went to showdown 28%. 14k hands
The other guy a fish obv ,expect him to fold to the check raise a lot

his sizing seems smalish especially vs fish ,i think he would like more value with nut type hands, right? When he calls he has the nuts , JT and TT+ ,then the A comes i think it's a decent card to barrel since i don't really have to represent it but it weakens his range a bit ,not that many AA now and everything else is now 2nd pair, plus i'm strill trying to represent a very good hand. River i think it's bad since now i have less combos of sets and not so good Fold equity.

Thoughts?

I wanted originally to barrel any club ,6 or 7 but i thought A is good too.

Hi,

Yeah I think it's played fine. I would tend to agree regarding his flop sizing, and would prob follow through on the turn as well, since as you say he should have a decent amount of TT-KK, 87s or w/e. River giving up seems standard, possibly we could make a case for shipping since it's not a card where we're expected to bluff often, and he hopefully doesn't have too many straights/sets based on his flop sizing. But I do think it's pretty marginal so nothing wrong with just giving up.

I usually prefer squeezing pre flop, we isolate ourselves against the fish and we pull the initiative to us. I think it's more EV+ that calling. Your take on that?

We can definitely do that with some hands, but I prefer just calling in this spot. QJs plays better in a single raised pot I feel like, its kind of a waste to 3bet it. The main value of 3betting is the fact that they will often just fold pre, and if they call QJ is probably not in great shap anyways. So i'd rather 3bet stuff like K8 or AT and call QJs.

As for the hand Id play it the same, and would prob give up river, as our nice friend from sweden pointed out, we probably dont get much respect by betting once the river pairs here :)
