today i woke up and set a goal for today by playing 10 sng´s today . and then visit my mom and spend some time with my girlfriend ..

i have played the 10 sng now and its have been the best poker day ive ever had .. ♦

ended up with 4 first place one 2 place and two 3 place ♦ with a total win
at 12,95$ and my BR is now on 55,29$ at my sng acount
so im really happy with todays session ♦

i have 1 hand that i played really really bad .. tryin to slowplay it was a mistake i should just had taken the pot down imediatly :/ .. but ive learned from it so thats okay

okay today i have so far played 9 sngs and im planning to play 6 more so i get a total of 15 . so far it havent been to good.. ending up with tree 3 place and bust out on the other 6 hopefully ill catch up on the last 6 ..

7 of the handst i busted out on im not sure if i played correct . i think some of them i did considering the situation and some of them was just bad play from mee . after i have played the last 6 sngs i will post the hands on this thread that im not sure of . and if there is more hands in the last 6 sngs i wil post them to . and hopefully get some feedback on them from some of you who is reading this blog .

after i have played the last sngs i wil study the sng strategy articles .
and lern some new stuff ♦ . and watch some of your coaching videos afterwards .. ..

i have played the 15 sng´s and not with much luck today .. there was loooong between some good cards and when i finally got some good cards i diddent hit the flop or i got smashed on the river .. but well evryone has those days right? .. status is tree 3 place and one 2 place .. total loose today 7,35$ and current BR on sng account is now 47,94$

i think i wil try to play some cashgame tomorrow .. Unfortunately, i can not track hand histories on the cashgame site becus i cant change the language .. but i will update how long i played and how much i won/loose when im done playing . and if i can manage it i wil write down if there is some interesting hands .. but not sure if i can do it and still focus on the game but lets see.. this was all for today .good luck at the tables yall ..

I just looked at the first hand you posted. I'm getting a little dizzy after first hand.

You shouldn't re-raise to 600 with Q/8o from the bb (since villian is chip leader). When chip leader re-raised to 2k, you should have folded and not shoved. Q/8o is only a marginal hand and should be folded unless you have reason to suspect villian will fold to a re-raise.

Preflop: Hero is CO with K, 7. BU folds, BB raises to $600.00, Hero raises to $3,335.00(All-In), BB calls $2,535.00.

I am confused here, how does the BB raise before you have acted?

Hands mostly look wild/spewy (although this could well be that they are just too hard to read) . I would get into some of the free coaching/videos available to you on this site that specifically deal with begginers strategy. Then go back and look through these hands you have posted and do your own analysis on each one and see how much it differs from your thinking atm. GL

Ok so I had another look, there is a little play hand thing that plays the hand through in anohter tab. Myadvice, don't use this HH converter again, its awful. There are plenty out there that are far easier to use. Anyway, most of your all ins seem pretty standard. Maybe work on your post flop play a bit more. I know your only just starting so I don't wanna sound harsh, just giving friendly advice.

my plan for today . is to play some 6 max cashgame nl2 after i come home from school if i issent to tired .. im currently educates to joiner and have to be at the workshop all day today . . but lets see ...

if i issent to tired then my plan is to play for 1-2 hour and study some more at my sng postflop play atleast an ½ an hour .

as mentioned i cant use the hm at the game i play cashgame on so i wil just update how long i played and what my win/loose are and maybe if i can stay focused and still write some hands down i wil post them aswell if theres is some interesting hands ...

okay so i have played some cashgame for two hours now .. not really happy with the outcome but not really sad either .. i won 1,04 euro´s so its not much .. but i did win some .. and thats better than loosing money ..

it started out terribly play nl2 and went in to 2 "big" pots one where i have QAds and bet 10 cent . 3bbraise + 2 limpers . get called by 2 and the pot is
34 cent .. flops hit hard Qs Ac 3c . im at the button by the way . 2 checks to me and i bet pot . so im now down to 1,66euro . 1 folds 1 cals and pot is now 1.02 euro . turn is Jh . 1 check to me . i bet half pot 0,51 cent . he calls . im down to 1,15 cent river is Kh . 1 check to me i check back and loose to AK

second hand is AJ cant remember the colours diddent have time to write it down . but im co all folds i raise 6cent button call sb and bb folds pot is 15 cent.. so the flop is J 3 8 . i check button bet pot and i call ´pot is now 45 cent . i have 0,94 cent back in my stack .. turn is 5 button bet pot i call pot is now 1,35 euro . and im down to 0,49 cent . river is 9 . (i remember that there is not any flush draw .. ) button check. and i check . .and boom he shows pocket jacks and win ..

but i mannaged to play my way up to at profit at 1,04 cent . and stopped playing after that . so thats good ... to of the hands i won most in today was. full house with 3K2T´s and flopped a tripple jacks .. those two hands i won about 2 euros . and then some small pots .

what do you think about playing 2 tables insted of 1 table at ones in cashgame nl2 for me? when i play sng i usually play 3-4 tables at once

and what are your oppinion about leaving the table and buy in on another one when win 25% above the buy in to save your winnings and minimize your loosings ?

The idea of leaving a table when you have doubled the buyin has been around for a while, Chris Ferguson did a challenge and that was an essential part of his plan.

So go to the table with $2 and leave at $4.

I am not sure as I play less cash games than SNGs but for me I would rather leave a though table where i am losing than an easy table where I am winning

yeah i see the idea of leaving the tough table and keep playing at the easy table usually when im at a tough table i see it as learning and tighten up my starting hands and bluff a lot less and see it all as practice (sometimes an expensive practice but still .. but what i am affraid on is the bad beats .. so i ussually just leave when i have won an 25%+ amount .. when i sit at a table with 2$ i leave when i have won 50 cent .. is this to tight ? .. maybe i should say 50%+ instead .. and i was just wondering how much harder it is to play 2 talbes at once in low limit cashgames than one table .. ofcourse i could just try it . but if one of you more experinced players had a tip for me i would listen to this instead since im still a fish ♦

and just another thing .. how much harder is it to end up ITM in mtt sng´s 20-50 players in compare with 9-10man sng .. just tryin to experiment . but still with limit .. dont want to loose all my BR on experimenting on lvl´s im not ready for .. ...

okay so i tryed multitabling today at cashgame nl2 .. it diddent went so well .. after 2 hours of playing i had a +on 38cent . but well as i said yesterday .. atleast i won some and diddent loose some.. so i think thats fine considdering how new i am at poker ..

status on my cashgame bankroll is 68,29 euro started out with 67,03

so thats a + 1,26 euro ..

i think i wil study some bss her at ps now for an hour or so and hopefully come back better tomorrow .. and im not sure if i sould try multitable again tomorow

so i played for 1½ hour today and lost 1,09 euro in cashgame .. so now i wil play 4 sng´s and call it the day .. i think that the scool is making me too tired to bring my a game at the moment .. cuz i make some bad calls without even thinkin about it .. not so good ..

maybe i will wait until the weekend to play again and get some more sleep and play when im more rested and see if things go better .. i think i fall for alot of bluff in the cash games and have to work on that .. and i think i play too loose .. i play at 6max .. maybe i should go for full ring for a week and see if there is any changes .. tighten up my game . make less bluffs and read some more strategy articles ...

im currently started reading . The quick guide to skyrocketing your poker and life productivity .. it looks like something i could get a lot from .. so i will deffently read the whole article .. i will update again on the 1 feburay with my january stats .. the most stats will come from the sng´s becuse i can track that .. and my cashgame stats will mostly be how much i have won / loose

in febuary i wil also start making some small weekly goals for my poker game and see if i can complete them . just to make me step up my game further and keep me focused on improowing my game ..

Ok, you seem really commited to improving. If you add me in the community tool I can probs help you out with the basics here if your looking to get those sorted out. I don't offer help often as so many people just come and go. I would advise to join moshmans free sng coaching later, it's always a decent session and you will learn a lot.

okay so i have takken a break from poker today and wil go to sleep in a moment and get a lot of rest .. tomorrow i have a short school day so i hope i will be much more fresh when i come home and start playing some poker and hopefully play my a game ... i will now present my january status on cashgame and sng´s

my current BR in cashgame is 67,20 euro .. thats a plus on 19 cent

and as i cant track my cashgame plays.. thats all the stats i can give on this at the moment

my current BR in sng´s is 48,63$ thats a - on 14,93 $ ..

i have played 148 1$ regular full ring sng´s in january . plus a little bit of cashgame and have tried some turbo 6man sng . but that was before i registred to another site to only play cashgame there and from febuary i wil only play sng´s on the one site and cashgame on the other ..

out of the 148 sngs i ended up with 11 first places 21 second places and 15 third places .. thats a total winning of 125,80$ and a total buy in at 148$ = a loss on 22,20$ .. and i gues the last 7,27$ winning is from the cashgame and 6 man turbo sng that i diddent record . so thats a total loss on 14,93$

hope that febuary will be better as i think i have lerned a little bit after reading some more strategy articles and the fact that i have 148sng behind me so far .. but only time will tell ..
