New table, no info. Is this line okay? I think a smaller pp would pay on the river. And after turn checking i don't see him bluffing river. I have about a pot size stack in front. River vbet/fold?

I like the line but I do not think with this size you can b/f river, this is the perfect size to induce a bluff .So I would rather bet 11 ish and fold than 7k and fold.ofc it all depends on the vilain.

Besides that ,if a pair calls 7k , he prob calls 11k , but like I said , 7k is easier to get bluffed off.

Ah , considering the stack sizes I do not mind making it bigger pre.

Hi all,

Just flat preflop IMO.

Make it bigger on the river for value, something like 17-18k is good. Tons of hands pay us off IMO as we can easily have some random 2 broadways going for a desperation bluff.

Just because you're planning on bet/folding doesn't mean you have to size it small for that purpose. On the river you either have the best hand or you don't, pot commitment is not really a thing (ie it's not wrong to fold to <minraises if your opponent is never losing to you!)

Yeah it actually makes sense, don't know exactly what I was thinking at the moment, of course I'm not commited _mad:.

The only interesting thing is that you would just flat preflop. Our hand is playable, but I don't see that we could make a standard profit playing against two wide ranges oop. IP I'd call of course.
And this way I make collect the pre pot a lot of times, I have FE and even if they call being the preflop agressor I can rep a bunch of things and realize even more FE postflop. And the playabilty of the hand is still the same, but with more FE.

Of course I'm open to any opinions, but I usually 3bet here preflop because of the mentioned reasons.

It's a waste of a hand. I think we can flat preflop OOP and make money just because our hand flops so well. I don't mind 3betting worse hands like J8s or J9s (top of our folding range etc).
