looking through my hand history on a certain hand am i right in thinking that i am getting the correct odds to call this turn bet ? my hand i think has 17% equity and the guy bets 240 into pot of 1900 making it 2140 so am i right in thinking im being offered close to 10% pot odds? should i of called this bet? i would of ended up making the nut straight but in the long run is this a good/bad call:

imo it would have been correct to call. You can also use implied odds here because if you hit you would probably have got more chips from him on the river.
Because he had led out all the way, the third diamond may slow him down, although he may bluff/shove which would be a bad play as you have only called which is typical of drawing hands.
Interesting

no brainer call on the turn. only count implied odds when making these kind of decisions.

u need to put 240 in the pot and u have 17% to hit. So to breakeven you need to win approximately 6 times more than 240 when u hit, which you obv do.

shoot can you verify that i worked it out correctly though however? pot offered me 10% to call and my chances of winning was 17%? i work in percent so its alittle easier this way thanks :)

Hey elliotmack and welcome to the mtt strategy forum.

I will move your hand to the hand evaluation forum where our professional hand judges will have a look at it. The strategy forum itself is reserved for strategic discussions. Hands should always be posted in the hand evaluation forums.
