Hi!

This is an interesting hand a coleague of mine played. Can't seem to come to conclusion what is the best line here.

Villain is 37/22/3

FT3B = 40%

C/R 21% in 3b pot on flop(53 sample).

What is the correct play here. Shove for value or bluffcatch? He reps pretty much 6 combos of sets. AK is prolly out of question. There is KQ but does he really fastplay those. We block As so that sucks.

TY!

Hi.

Preflop: Squeeze size is too small. You must make it bigger than 4X vs a min-raise. I'll make it $10.

Flop: Nasty spot IMO. We have As which blocks out many of his possible semi-bluff combos. It depends on how often he has worse KX hands and flush draws in his range.

In general it's never a bad play to stack off AA in 3b pots for 100bb. But this may be one of those rare situations where it might be good. It's 3way and we block the nut flush draw, opponent may not necessarily have too many flush draw semi-bluffs, and given your small size and the 3way dynamic, villain has many combos of 33/44.

But given that he seems kind of fishy, with such a wide preflop range (super low fold to 3b), I think we have to stack off here.
