This is just an example of the actual problem:

Poker Stars $2.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: $0.81 - VPIP: 50, PFR: 2, 3B: 0, AF: 1.7, Hands: 105
BB: $2.10 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 17, 3B: 2, AF: 1.7, Hands: 153
UTG: $1.65 - VPIP: 38, PFR: 3, 3B: 0, AF: 1.1, Hands: 138
MP: $3.13 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 11, 3B: 4, AF: 1.5, Hands: 192
CO: $2.59 - VPIP: 40, PFR: 28, 3B: 0, AF: 3.2, Hands: 116
Hero (BTN): $3.84 - VPIP: 13, PFR: 10, 3B: 5, AF: 2.7, Hands: 23933

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BTN with A :club: K :diamond:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.06, SB calls $0.05, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.14) 5 :club: 7 :spade: 4 :club: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($0.14) 8 :spade: (2 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero calls $0.02

River: ($0.18) J :diamond: (2 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero calls $0.02

I really don't know what to do in this kind of situations. There are players who donkbet 1BB every street. I tried to re-raise, sometimes it works, sometimes I get re-raised instead, sometimes they just float. I tried to call the bets, but then they hit on the turn or river. And folding is also not an option..

Hi Vito,

Preflop: looks fine

Postflop: Given that we have two overcards, the flop is low and we have a backdoor flush I think that we can semibluff the flop (with a cbet) even though he is shorter.

As played I don't mind calling the small bets even though that's often a pair.

Hello,

Preflop is fine.

On the flop check back is fine. The board is quite bad for a cbet here.

As played, just fold the turn.
No need to invest 1bb when we just have ace high on this kind of board where we could be easily behind and we can't really call a river bet.

As played, I would rather call as well for information.

Best,
Plamen
