On the flop I think I have enough folding equity + backdoor flush and overs, turn cb for value, now, on the river should I check behind? or value bet thin like I did to make villain to call something like KQ,QJ?

Hi.

I don't like the weak halfpot bets on every street. Half pot bets could be fine in certain instances, like on dry flops as cheap cbets but in general i prefer betting larger on the later streets or if i am betting on the wetter boards.

Flop: Ok bet is fine here.

Turn: I'll bet larger. Our aim is to fold out mid pocket pairs like 88 here.

River: Assuming we did fold out mid pocketpairs on the Turn, he is going to have a ton of AQ or TX type of hands. I am not bluffing now.

You need to think about what hands you are actually folding out on each and every street. This would allow you to understand what you are trying to achieve with each bet on each street much better.

Thanks.
