Ok so i know that this will sound like a stupid question to most but i am just confused on stack sizes i know there is small stack big stack mid stack etc. But what determines these to be those sizes??
Example if i had 50 dollars to play with would that be mid because it is not very much?
Would 1000 be big stack?
I kinda understand that it is the amount of chips you have and something to do with how many big blinds but if my bankroll is 50.00 and i go into a NL2 or NL5 game would those be small or mid stack? Sorry if this sounds confusing im very confused as to how you know what the sizes are and how much to take into a game i read somewhere on here 40% of maximum amount allowed at the table im not sure if i remembered that right but doing the math on that everytime would be very consuming. Any help with understanding this would be veryyy much appreciated. I want to really understand everything on the basic level before i move further with purchasing a silver membership.
