Good intro sir made me laugh ( I so hope it was meant to!). I looked in because the sign said 'Gone Fishing' which was the same sign I had on my (empty) desk at school! Glad I did now.

Well I'm off to my local pubs poker night. £10 buy in usually get about 30 or so players, unfortunately the pay out is 1st and 2nd get x amount 3rd gets the buy in back... But its still fun.

Overall I'm break even after going for six months, which means many third places! Fingers crossed my luck will change tonight....

I'll also relent and post this months graph so far, when i can work out how to do it again!

I managed to break my jinx and came 2nd last night for £65 which now puts me at the top of the yearly learderboard!

Now i just need to stay there for the next nine months...

Only played just over 600 hands in total with 6max but I've seen some hands where short stackers have shoved into 2 or 3 people with ATo and AJs pre, hopefully i can get some stats on these guys to adjust

Had a Torrid time yesterday evening playing 6maxfastforward, donated 3/4's of my winnings from Saturdays two sessions back to other villains!

Having a few issues with villains taking obscure lines, which from Full Ring means 'I have teh NUTZ' however after posting a couple of hands for evaluation in 6max it means 'I am full of rubbish'

Going to go back to playing Full ring for the next few days, hopefully get some more EV$ money....

Dropped almost another buy in tonight.
I'm convinced it was because my fold button had morphed into another call/raise button.

Todays session taught me to remember to think about relative strength...

Played my usual Wednesday poker tournament at a local (ish pub)

not much to say until blinds were 400/200 i had a stack of 4800.

UTG1 had about 15000. He didn't have the word fold in his vocabulary :f_love:- three previous hands which he had shown all three 82o,72s soooted and 92o in these hands he had bet, and check raised with 72 on a JdQdAd flop.....

To cut a long story short i wake up with with AJ in the SB, shove. I've never seen someone insta call so quick :coolface:, so with that know im almost always beaten, he then tables KK.

Going to hopefully play some online tomorrow. Today was spent reading up on tournament poker specifically the M ratio and doing some equity shizzle. ♠_cool:

Pleased with how i played, only issue i think i had was called 3 or so 3bets which were too marginal.

Still lost nearly a buy in and a half but that is how variance and the cards can go some days.

You can't expect to win every one, you'd be a fool to even think that at the micro level

only had 30 odd hands on villain was 30/7 in those. PFA of 12, just seemed spazzy.

Made it to 20k hands--- last few days i've found a couple of leaks which i need to fix.
These are
Betting the river because i start to think of my redline
Isolating too much with marginal holdings in the Small Blind
not looking at relative strength of my hands on high card boards

Hopefully i'll sort these out over the next few days and dig myself out of my horrible week where im down 4 buy ins, Mainly from the marginal hand part preflop which gets bigger and bigger down later streets.

Hopefully the next time a post my graph at the end of the month the profit i have left won't be gone and my green will be steadily inclining again! I'll also post my stats if any one is interested

AA: Bigger 4bet to commit preflop saves the heartache, especially full ring at this level. No cuty-pie stuff and 'trying to play a little poker', you're out of position and the board now sucks big time. Just bang them thar chips in preflop and rub the money ...! ♦
On a good day I could check/fold the turn...on a good day.

Why people at micros are so obsessed with having a positive redline I'll nev er know, it's much nicer to see the green one go up imo! ♠_cool:

villain was 13/9 over 141 hands and had 3bet of 11.5 when on the BU. i debated 4bet folding here but with me being in EP i thought he would only do this with AA/KK?

Well online for me is a state atm. Definitely tilted the past week and a half. I think the issue i have is not being able to let go of a hand when i get to the river. Flop and Turn i seem to be able to let go of my big over pairs and top pair top kicker when faced with aggression. Its when people play the hand passively and call 2 streets. the Phrase relative strength comes to mind again....

The other tilt which leads me usually to what is written in the above is entitlement tilt i think it would probably be called. Where i have to fold my good hands to a point where i think this has happened to me x amount of times they have to have a worse hand now and i call and they have the better hand i put them on!

The past two weeks i think have burnt me out big time. three weeks ago it looked really good, i had $61.00 in the green and $78 in ev over 17000 hands over almost all NL5 and 1000 of speed mixed with NL4 . This is where i started to think NL10 won't be far away..... since then i have been on losers tilt? i think its called where i have been running bad and with the running bad playing bad hasn't been far behind as i try to make catch up and call down with marginal holdings thus maximising my lossess!
