Played this the other day. Think I might have overplayed it on the turn, b/3b fl or just b/c and call down here? His range on the flop has alot of draws in it, and he probably would raise 6x here aswell. I'm not that scard of the A hitting him on the turn, would be A8 A6, cant see him raising any other on the flop. I thought I'de be ahead here, but were actually 50/50 sorta. On the river there just arnt that many hands that would call that I beat. BB is lag/tag but I dont have many hands on him, so stats arent that usefull.

--edit--
Damn it, don't like that turn rais at all...

First u think your turn raise was for value or you want to put it as a bluff & want him to fold

Point is if you are trying to bluff him then what better hands you think he is folding & if it was for value u want him to call right ?

I am not sure you are ahead against his range & therefore raising is not the correct decision because he is not folding any hand which beat you on flop & folding on turn

The turn rais was for value... but its a bit thin and with the A hitting turn it looks way to strong. So yea, shouldve just called it down.

But should I rais any 8 on this turn?

I remember this hand becasue it was me you played it vs :)

I don't like the turn raise with 87o, if you're raising every 8 here you're way overdoing it

I like the call flop/raise turn line for sure but I am not folding any 8 here and I will more than likely bet/fold my lesser 6's so your raise just simply doesn't have enough value.

I don't mind the idea of raising some 8's here but I'd limit yourself to Q8+.

You are right in reading I probably don't have too many A's in my range but you are raising too much unless you expect me to fold better and considering I called down w/ T8 I'm probably not :)

Haha, yes it was you, didn't notice until now. Not paying enough attention! Yea I played against you on two different tables apparantly... in my defense, I was multitabling a fair number of tables of which some were 3 handed! Lead to some weird plays in general, I probably shouldnt do that :f_grin:

Having trouble balancing my turn raise range in general I think. But I guess here raisig all my As and all my fdraws would do fine actually. And it wouldve been a nice spot for a semi bluff.
