i considered his range to be pretty tight OTT like AJ+,JT,9T,JJ,QQ,TT but yeah i wasnt really sure what to do... i guess i could x/c the river cause he seems like he would turn any sd value to bluff

First of all, I think its standard to just fold pre. A9o doesnt play really good oop.

Flop cbet and c/c should be fine.
I dont see value in barreling the Turn. You are often dominated or even drawing dead.

So the question is wether to c/c or c/f the Turn. I dont think hands like JT, T9 are in his range when he folds that much to 3bets pre. I think cf Turn should be fine because I dont expect him to turn JJ or QQ with a diamond into a bluff vs your check.

I agree, A9o is definitely not a clear cut 3bet, although I guess it's fine if he really folds 72% to 3bets.

Postflop, I think flop is fine, we can c/c but obv nothing wrong with cbetting. Turn I think it might be too thin though, what are we hoping to get called by? I would check and evaluate.

As played, it's a gross spot. Do you think he ever just shoves turn with his draws, like KQ with a diamond or similar?

ifs

he seems pretty aggro, so i guess he is capable of turning verything worse into a bluff but on the other hand, which hands would he call twice with and wouldnt shove over my turn cbet or raise my flop cbet
