Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $20(BB) Replayer
SB ($2,980)
BB ($6,175)
UTG ($5,815)
UTG+1 ($5,970)
UTG+2 ($5,910)
MP1 ($6,315)
MP2 ($5,950)
CO ($5,855)
Hero ($6,030)

Dealt to Hero A♠ J♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $60, SB raises to $145, fold, Hero calls $85

FLOP ($310) 4♥ Q♦ K♠

SB bets $155, Hero calls $155

TURN ($620) 4♥ Q♦ K♠ 2♥

SB checks, Hero ????

The guy seem to be a regular but pretty aggresive at this point. 30/25 w/ 7% 3bet for 120 hands.

My question is, do we bet the turn?

I think by betting the turn we get called by almost any hand that beats us exept some PPs like 55-TT maybe although Im not sure how often he 3bets 55-99 here.

I think even if he have any of those he will most likely check/fold them on the river too.

The downside about checking back is prolly that we are giving him the chance to bluff us on the river although we are repping SD value and if he think about our range, he will prolly not gonna try to bluff us of a Qx.

Tho we cannot be sure what kind of player he is so I think betting>checking?

Hi,

bet 320, evaluate river.
You fold out better hands and can always represent KQ+ he likely has at best AQ/KJs that he would not call down if you bet big on the river.
Although mostly he would just c/f turn

best regards,

best regards,

I'm not a fan of this. I think that our opponent has AQ at the bottom of his range when he check/calls turn (AA at the top of his range), and I don't think he folds it on the river. We just don't have enough value hands in our range. I prefer bet turn, check back non-T river. We fold out AT, AJ (which bet/check/bet to win), TT-JJ and some random air hands.
