Please, check the hand how it was played before looking at results.
It was my first hand with this guy so no reads available / but I'm quite sure I played it well against unknown; or not?

3/6 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Hi opal99,

you should nearly always 3-bet the flop directly out of position. A freecard on the turn would be horrible as there are a few draws possible with which he might raise.
After 3-bettin you can bet/calldown the turn. If capped you should bet/calldown the turn anyway as a cap often is a last attempt to get a freecard as it makes more sense to wait for the turn to raise again.

If you go for the check/raise turn then the hand is played well. (And the result wouldn't change my opinion but take a note that he likes to raise low pair directly on drawheavy flops.)
