Ahoy there!

So to break from the traditional create a blog, run blog, forget about blog I'm going to try something new!

For those who don't know me I've already had about 15 blogs trying out different games and game types from Cash to SNG and everytime I inevitably fail :) I like playing poker but with 2 jobs, a wife, one daughter (and another baby due in 10 weeks) I don't get enough time to play properly

So after much thinking and deliberating and discussions with my better half, I will now dedicate one Sunday every month to play some MTTs which are my favourite :)

The aim is to play on the first Sunday of every month but this will change as some weeks I maybe sick/away etc.

I will give myself a budget of $125 every month to play. Hopefully I can make some cashes and I won't have to dip into this every month. Let's see how this goes......

Anyways, May 5th is two weeks away so my next post will go through my schedule for that day :)

So, my schedule is quite small. At most I will have 7 tables running but that is quite a lot for me and two of them will be Turbo tournaments so I'll be thinking quickly and have little time to act

I am giving myself a budget of $33 to satellite into the MiniFTOPS Main. $75 is far too much for a tournament so I'll give the Steps tournaments a shot and see how I go. I'll be playing the 6max Super Turbo games for the lolz. They fit my schedule the best so wish me luck!

So I managed to get through my 10 Step 1 games.

Not a great return though, only 1 Step 2 ticket won and 5 retries :(

Would realistically need a couple more Step 2s to have any chance IMO. I have to win a Step 3 to get a ticket to MiniFTOPS!

Following this for sure!

Just a little question though. Why the choice of the hot $11 over the big $11? Not that it really matters much, you should play whatever you like, but was just wondering why you went for the game with the lower guarantee.

Either way, gl and ship the SM

Hai guys! Thanks for following

Good question Tino. The reason I omitted it was because I prefer turbo tournaments over standard ones. However, if I do make the Sunday Million then I will probably add the Bigger 11 too as they start within 30 minutes of each other.

Have edited schedule above to show this now :)

So have now completed all Step 1 tickets. The bad news is that after initially spending $33 I only have 2 Step 2 tickets ($8.70 each)

I probably under-estimated the luck value in these 6 max games. I have been running pretty horribly over this so far but meh such is life I suppose!

Not holding my breath over the qualifying for the MFTOPS now

Traffic is really really bad for Steps games except for the SuperTurbos so that is only reason I play them!

Anyways, 2 for the road!

I would say it's over BUT I have one final attempt because I have enough FTP points to cover another Step 1 ticket!

Will finish this off over the weekend because it's work time!

Nice! will follow.

Few q's as I'm curios.

What will you do with weeks that you profit
A)100-1k
B) 1k+

Will you be up for any profit shares with others also playing events?

Gl!

Good questions! Never even really thought about this tbh. I guess if I win enough to cover next month then I'd go with that, maybe even add a few more $$$ to the budget and add a few tournies as well.

In the case of

A) Would probably use as seed money for future months depending on RL bankroll
B) We are saving for mortgage down the line so anything above $1k would go straight into that fund.

Regarding profit sharing. Under the right circumstances I would definitely consider it as long as it's for the exact same tournies that I play. Small percentages though :)

Hmm looking for other tournaments or satellites to add to my session. It looks like I'll add the $11 satellite to the Sunday Million which has 100 seats GTD to the Sunday Million.

The only issue with this is I guess it won't finish until well after the SM starts - 45 minutes between the start of the satellite and start of the SM. If anyone knows this I would appreciate it. I wouldn't mind if I missed the first 30-60 mins of the SM but any longer and I don't think I'd be happy.

Might mail Stars and see if they have an average time that it finishes :)

Anyone else know of any decent tournaments on iPoker/MG between 5-7:30pm GMT that are worth playing? $5-$20 BI would be the min-max!
