btn somehwat active flatting often

relfecting i think the shove is awful

3 betting would have been better/optimal

thoughts?

Hi,

Against 3x raise I would never shove over 30bb. Risk/reward situation is just too bad and he is never really gong to fold there AK, TT+ (you may get him to fold AQ)
If you want to take initiative and take pot down pre-flop, then 16k-18k 3b should do the work, although call or fold should also be ok.

I much prefer 3betting to calling. I'm not sure whether 3betting is better than folding. I guess I like to have some 3bet bluff hands, and AJo and KQo are really good for that purpose here, so for that reason I'm leaning more towards 3betting. I make it 18k preflop and fold to a shove.

Stats help here, if he's tight I'm definitely folding.
